About me

I'm multi-passionate and care too much about... everything.

How would you define yourself? Is it by what you do, or what you believe?

By trade I'm a dietitian. I'm incredibly proud of this, it's something I worked incredibly hard for. Specifically, I'm a pediatric dietitian that specialized in working with neurodivergent kiddos and their families. Seeing patients, helping families, and connecting with others around health fills my cup. However, it's not the only thing I do.

It turns out, I love solving problems for people, whether it's individually or systemically. In business or in my community. As someone who is also neurodiverse, I enjoy supporting families in creating space to allow their child to be who they want to be and supporting the family unit as a whole.

As much as I love my patients and nutrition science, I also love running a business, supporting other businesses, creating programs, web development, creating content, public policy, researching, community building, environmental science, and food systems science.

In the past, I've had a difficult time conceptualizing how to package and present this to people, but I've decided to just create a space where I can talk about what is interesting to me and how we can connect the dots between food, health, and climate change in a nuanced way.

This space is a work in progress that can evolve as I do, but it's centered around the core values of authenticity, integrity, and curiosity. Let's ask the hard questions, look for viable solutions, and take action together.
I AM on a MISSION

to inspire others to focus on taking action in their own communities

There are so many barriers to change but we shouldn't let that stop us from taking action.

Many of the people who I connect with want to leverage their knowledge of food and nutrition in the fight against climate change, but most have no clue where to start.
Our problems often seem too big and the solutions often feel too exclusive to truly have an impact.

Shifting our focus to a hierarchy of change that starts with personal and community action can lay the foundation for solutions that have an impact on real people.

what makes this different?

climate change, food, health, it's all complicated and should be approached with nuance.
